Public finance law

Presentation

The purpose of this class is to examine the different forms of state intervention in the economy. After defining the three notions of Public Finance Law, regulatory law and public business law, we will explore, in the introductory part of the class, the sources of PFL. In successive chapters, we will then look more closely  at the different forms of government intervention in the economy: market intervention by the State as  an economic operator, market control (authorisations, monopolies, exclusive rights, market regulation, etc.), protection of market competition (competition law), market support (State aid) and collaboration with the market (public procurement).
